If you want more realistic bowed instruments you might want to look at the Roli Seaboard
Rise and the software instruments that are designed to work with it. It also works great
for lead guitar or other things with strings.
Tried it last weekend at the music store and I think it's excellent, though one
certainly needs a good amount of practice to master it.
