Can you imagine the effect on the audience if we had two musicians playing 4
keyboards all driving one instance of yoshi :)
Some five years ago I had a performace of 8 computers playing notes sent
from my Laptop via aseqnet to an instance of Zynadd. Every instance was
set to recieve from a different MIDI-channel. So the reverse works
perfectly well ;-)
This is actually possible now, if the keyboards were
set to transmit on
different channels. The icing on the cake would be to have a third person
swapping in sound patches throughout the performance.
It's a fantastic thought, but would require rather a lot of practice and
choreography!
