Does anyone have a copy of these programs they might
like to swing my
way?
I have binaries of Juno 1.0.1 and RS101 2.0-1.7 if you want them - just let me
know your preferred method of delivery. Unless anyone knows of licence
restrictions on redistribution of this software - if so, please let me know.
I was very anxious to try them but unfortunately the
web site seems
to be gone and there the software is no longer available.
Ultramaster programs weren't all source-available, unfortunately.
Did it close because of copyright reasons or was it
closed for some
other reason?
I don't know, but I suspect Ultramaster was just too far ahead of its time in
trying to build a business model around proprietary music software for Linux.
They were good programs, and I imagine they would have fitted in well with a
distribution like Lindows which isn't adverse to closed source.
It's not too late for the source code to be relicensed by its authors though,
if the proprietary product is defunct.
