Wasn't that what they said about getting Jack working in Windows? I know
the devs have a lot on their plates and that nothing like that is going

I tried it some years ago. IIRC there's a command to put JACK into "freewheeling
mode", which makes it not RT anymore, so it's not dependent on real time clock. I
did that, then suspended, then came back, and it Xran on me anyway and lost control of its
bladder and died. If you have any better luck, go for it.
You're right though, anything is possible with unlimited time and money. If you or
anyone else wants to dig into the codebase and try to get it to work, fantastic,
that'd be very slick. I can't imagine it being a high priority for anyone right
now though.
