For those looking for high bit rate, non-usb,
stable multi-channel input
and output on the pi (6 in 8 out), this current Kickstarter may be of
interest. I'm not affiliated with the guy responsible for this , but I do
have his first board, the 2 in 2 out version. So far it seems very stable
at reasonably low latency settings in JACK and has the added benefit of
mainline kernel support. If the multi-channel version works nearly as well
it may be a winner.

Looks great but what always interests me first with these kind of
projects is what kind of audio codec they're using. This project doesn't
mention anything about that and even blurred the inscription on the
codec chip on the pictures. Do you happen to know what audio codec it is
using?

I didn't run the vid - not going to pick through a laundry list of 3rd party
scripts, and face book? No way! However, one concern would be that amount of
*unbalanced* I/O. I wonder how it would perform in a real-world situation.
Does anyone have experience of anything at all similar?

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
