and there are general differences between large-diaphragm
and small-diaphragm condensers (e.g. large diaphragms have an
inherent treble peak and other characteristics that tend to
flatter vocalists; small-diaphragm are capable of being more
truly "flat").
Saying that though I use Shure copies. They claim to
be exact replicas.
So far they have lived up to all expectations.
