I found for some reason with Planet CCRMA's
current release the alsa
sequencer on my system is broken, it could be a problem with a buggy,
older version of alsa
What sort of problems have you been having?

[I've been waiting before upgrading for some word on what happened to
the locking problems Paul Davis reported for smp machines on newer alsa
cvs versions...]
