It would be nice to contact modart and invite them to a future LAC. Not
to convince them to opensource pianoteq (although that would be cool of
course) but hear why they chose to support linux.
AFAIC they initially developed the algorithm on linux with the juice
lib, but I may be wrong.

And version 5 still works (with
reduced polyphony) on my old 2006 Mac
mini with a 32-bit Core Duo processor and OS X 10.6, and so puts it to
good use, even though it's long past Apple's so-called "end-of-life".
(I could also put Linux on it, but I still sometimes need OS X to backup
my ipad.)
