Thanks for trying, and please send bug-reports about any issues.
Hi Anders,
thanks for your efforts!
Maybe you remember that I was trying to make OpenMusic run on my
system (64bit arch linux) without success some time ago. After
correspondence with Martin Simmons of LispWorks, I could nail the
problem down to a bug in 32bit mode gdk-pixbuf on x86_64:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=735995
LispWorks (I have tested version 6.1.1 PE) uses gdk-pixbuf to
progressively load TIFF images which triggers the bug here. I guess it
has not yet been fixed. That's why I am very curious if maybe you have
changed something on your side that could solve the problem for me.
I guess you are still using TIFF images for the logo and stuff? Could
you tell me which version of LispWorks you are currently using, and
wich version of libgdk_pixbuf 32bit is installed in your 64bit
environment?
Furthermore, if anyone would like to give OpenMusic a try on arch
linux I could provide you with pointers for PKGBUILDs for the program
itself as well as necessary 32bit libraries.
Cheers, Daniel
