Late enough versions of seq24 just register normal
alsa sequencer ports
for each sequence, so you can connect them in whatever configuration you
need with your patch bay.
ok I've found how to connect one seq24 sequence to 4 specimen instances.
Now I was pretty sure that it was bossible to map the midi keyboard with
specimen, like having the bassdrum patch going to the C1 key only, for
example. But in fact I can't remind how to do this.
for the moment all the patchs of the four instances of specimen are
playing from the same key C4.
wierd...
Both seq24 and specimen have good LASH support as
well, so you can save
the whole thing as one if it's complicated.
I use the qjacktl patchbay, it is a wonderful tool, but there is something
odd with it; it cannot distinguish the midi input of several instances of
both specimen and zynaddsubfx.
any help would be very kind.
