true, OTOH if you tape/glue/screw/weld it into a rack case together
with a Micstasy or two and secure the cable with some tie wraps it's
OK. And it *does* provide 64 channels. But I agree the price is
excessive.
and for the price difference to the pcie version, you
can get a small
form factor pc (well, always), with decent disks and raid1.
and since rick also used the "V" word, it appears to me a slightly
bigger box wouldn't hurt.
