your best bet is to probably use the samples in Hydrogen... but you
won't get any of the fancy stuff BFD provides (although you can create
velocity layers in Hydrogen).
You could do it with SuperCollider; not a sampling software per se, but it can
read and play any number of channels in a file, you can dynamically pan and
mix them, and hook it all up to respond to midi or other control messages...
Can SC load 24-bit samples and play them back?
