I'm in the process of building a Linux-based DAW
as well. My
question is
what distribution should I go with? I'm leaning towards Mandrake
9.1 or Red
Hat 9.. but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
Haven't quite gotten to that one yet. I may start with RedHat 8 or 9
and if that proves problematic, I'm currently building a Linux From
Scratch box (http://www.linuxfromscratch.org). We'll see.
