Pester them. Refile it. It's archived in the BTS so hopefully 'shoddy'
maintainers will get noticed.
Been there, done that. Look at the bug report,
there's really no new
activity in a year or so, just people asking when it would be fixed.
Personally I don't care, I switched to Ubuntu months ago, who had this
bug fixed for the Hoary release (maybe sooner).
Do you have an idea of how many packages need to be fixed? Is it just a
matter of a new deb of a fixed version of nptl?
