This strikes me as cool tho' it's listed as compatible but untested at
alsa.

^These guys are professional as hell, by the way... they've got a lot
of m-audio stuff too.
Also, should I be looking at any additional items like
a mixing board,
amplifiers and such? I would greatly appreciate any ideas, thoughts,
hints, pointers, links!
