Not a lot, although it's a lot better now than it was a few months ago.
I usually compile audio software from source and build my own RPM
packages using checkinstall when the Mandrake version is too old or
doesn't exist.
c.) do you consider the distribution that you use to
be notably adequate for
audio production? why?
I have no idea, I haven't really done any audio production.
