From the second side - I own KRK5' - and I like them - maybe are too
bassy, but for electronic music they are quite nice for start...
HS50M's here and my other bandmate has them too, he sold his KRK's for
it. They're pretty OK I guess but I did have issues with one particular
mix on a big PA regarding the low response. Haven't noticed any
distortion though. For headphones I use the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro.
