Don't use the 2.0-branch for any dice device either. It will not work, 2.0
doesn't support that platform.
Other than that: Run your focusrite saffire pro24 or pro40 with ffado trunk and

I use the Focusrite together with a Belkin PCIe FireWire card with a TI
chipset.
Also make sure you're using the latest svn checkout of the FFADO 2.0.0
branch, not the 2.0.1 branch because 2.0.1 won't work with DICE chipsets
(yet). Be aware
with the firewire chipset (choose Texas instrument for better
performances )
How can we order the one with the TI chipset? Is there a difference
in
serial number, or something (just a wild guess)?
