I've been considering a setup with an SSD drive and a scythe ninja II passive
heat sink. If the ninja can cool the processor without recourse to a fan then the only

would come from the PSU fan. I've looked around and found quite a few PSUs with
"silent" in the name yet they seem to refer to values of silent that veer
considerably away from..
well.. silent. Does anyone know of a truly silent PSU or of any hardware mods (say to the
heat sink)
to convert one into a truly fanless (and also non explody) PSU?
Well you can refrigerate the unit...
There is also water cooling.
I know several people round here have silent systems.
