There is no VST problem on Linux - we have Jack,
Hydrogen, Zynadd, LADSPA and LV2. We don't need this shiny bloated closed source VST
with all this uncreative presets.
And by the way I guess at 1999$ you could get a pretty preforming laptop
+ a good exterrnal sound card + linux + some rt kernel hack and huge
ladspa plugins packs.
