*Bwahahahah* Well, in reading what you and others a writing about this
stuff I'm having a renewed burst of optimism !-)
People have got the Oxygen working but it is not a
simple task. There
are some changes that have been going on in the usb-audio/midi code
since you probably last checked. They are just fleshing out last of
the usability issues now.
Of course none of this has been done by midiman people. They have just
been nice at releasing specs and sometimes providing hardware.
If you like I can let you know when the results are in. I think you
will like what has been done. The usb-audio and usb-midi driver have
been merged so you only need to compile one driver now. You will still
need to get the firmware download. The usb-midi sequencer now uses the
rawmidi device which is apparently better quality or latency or both.
?
There may need to be some changes to the alsa-docs but
I will make
sure they are not forgotten.
