For me Ubuntu worked well for Audio except for one thing: keeping up
to date. Many linux audio apps are changing fast and comipiling often,
using checkinstall which didn't allways work, was hell. It's much
easier now with Arch.

I won't reply in detail to the last messages, sorry, it really got too
convoluted for me, and it seems we've got to a point where we can only
restate what we allready stated. And, after all, I could be making
muffins instead of writing here
