Hi,
The AudioMulch matrix mixer is far more than just connect / disconnect
though. The controllable fade time is a useful and powerful feature.
[OT] I have to say AudioMulch is the one piece of software I miss from
my Windows days!
Best wishes,
Neil

It could almost be done in script with commandline jack control. The

Yes, matrix "mixer" is probably a misnomer, but that's what I've seen
it referred to in the past. For reference, this is what I'm after but
with more inputs/outputs:

Mixing is done and so the word is correct, but mixer to most audio folk
means level controls, but this case has all levels at 0 gain. However, the
purpose is switching as a telephone switchboard. Not many people would
think of qjackctl's connection box or patchage as a mixer, but when two
signals are routed to the same output... jackd does mix them.
