Secondly, I think I've narrowed down my mobo/CPU
combination and
wonder if there's anything to watch out for there. Here it is:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400 Thoroughbred 2.0 Ghz 266Mhz FSB
Mobo: Asus A7N8X Deluxe NVIDIA nForce2 SPP, nForce2 MCP-T chipsets
I'm in the process of building a Linux-based DAW as well. My question is
what distribution should I go with? I'm leaning towards Mandrake 9.1 or Red
Hat 9.. but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
