My guitar is in perfect tune now. I never knew
how good an accoustic
guitar can sound when it's in such perfect tune.
:) that was funny! I'm just trying to imagine how it could sound when
it wasn't in tune...
But be careful about "machine-tuning" !
I believe in perfect tuning as a personal trade-off between all the
imperfections. Being out of tune you can make your guitar sound personal!
So before your guitar maybe had a great personality (XD)and now is a
plain guitar... ooh what have you done!!! acoustics and imperfection
rulez!
don't let a hacker tune your guitar! that could be a disaster!! XD
Lets see if we can start another semi useless string of which guitarists
the world over can nit pick! :)
Fact is, it is impossible to tune an acoustic guitar
"perfectly"...Invariably, when you have it tuned so an open G chord
sounds spot on, an open A or even C will be a tad off. And the same
applies to the inverse of course. This all due to a general lack of
adjustment for intonation on acoustic axes. But to the untuned ear
(which I agree in sort...should be the final judge of how your axe is
"tuned" ) this is not really noticeble.
"don't let a hacker tune your guitar!" Now that's a great line! :)
Although I'm not quite of the same ilk on this point (ergo...B52's Rock
lobster 4 string special) and an untuned instrument of ~any~ sort will
usually cause demons to appear in my personality and require excorcism
if not remedied, if it is the missing "glue" to your music..... ~enjoy~
