Sounds can be demonstrated quite easily via the same web that we use to
watch YouTube vids ... a simple link on a text page is sufficient for that.

Free or fee, the silly belief that learning is best done via video is
something I complain about. And I used to do technology training for a
living, so I know about the strengths/weaknesses of the various ways of
delivering training.
My only small request with Zyn would be he somehow find a way to fix its
ability to just freeze up, quite responding, and turn into a zombie ...

There is yoshimi, "an ongoing experiment to develop
functional Jack audio & midi IO for ZynAddSubFX". It
does fix this for a few people (including me (very
happy about this:)).

There is also zyn and zynjacku; a project to extract the synth engines
out of zynaddsubfx and pack them in LV2 plugins. This project also aims
to fix some inherent issues with zynaddsubfx that prevents dependable

I still know too little, to really follow, what you're doing.

Appears neither in the screenshots on its website
nor in my copy.
I'm using the newest 2.4.0/yoshimi. Perhaps it's just
the 'man himself' his latest personal hack to avoid
copying voices manually.

Thanks for sharing these, they're pretty awesome so far.
Incidentally, I'm an American living in Romania (who speaks Romanian),
and I wrote to the creator of ZynAddSubFX some time ago offering to
buy him a beer if we're ever in the same town, and he said Romanian or
English is fine. Maybe I've been desensitized, but the English of the
average young Romanian compares well to the English of most Italians,
and with a less pronounced accent.
Not the most relevant comment in the world, but it's something I
happen to know about!
