1) Upgrade to Intrepid, if you can. But I don't understand why my system is crashing when I switch MIDI driver in Qjackctl to seq or raw!?! Do I miss something in my sound setup?

I upgrade to Interpid and it's working better :) It seems that our friend of Ubuntu didn't implement pulseaudio very well: read this to fix it: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=789578
