Greetings,
I took a few minutes today to update this page:

I've added a variety of new and old pieces, thanks to my ISP's
generosity in expanding my available storage. Please feel free to
comment. :)
More pieces will be added within the next few days. I've been busy...

Malted Milk has been in my collection already, it's pure and everything
is in place.
Cannibal's Trance is nice, but could be ... wider in the hips, roots
deeper in the earth ;)
The square lead reminds me of some house track ...
if only I could find it.
404 on the Prelude.
The Bagatelle feels like a slightly blurry and sleepy description of
something great. While I'm not 100% happy with the harmonic aspect, it's
full of nice motives and I see at least 2 characters that could be
carved out of it. Maybe an elven maid and a slightly gnarly faun :)

I had Pink and Aphex T in mind when I wrote it. Also, it was my lame
response to James Shuttlesworth's great "Fling".

Fixed now, sorry about that. I think you've heard this one already too.

Nice stuff Dave! How was the vocal recorded, processed and mixed for
"Good Love Blues?" It's in just the right spot both in the audio image
and in the mix. Microphones, EQ, effects, whatever?

Hi Frank,
Mic is an SM58 going through an AudioBuddy preamp before heading into a
Delta 66 input and on into a mono track in Ardour. No EQing, only the
CAPS Versatile Plate Reverb on the master. Alas, this session and some
others were lost in a disk crash last year. I have the mixed material,
but the original Ardour sessions are gone. :(
Btw, I never use presets with that reverb, I tune it differently for
everything I do.

Sorry to say it, but I advise getting a
better soundcard. I know the
Audigy is a good card, but after switching to the Delta 66 I know I
can't go back to consumer-grade cards.
The preamp can certainly color your sound. I bought the AudioBuddy on
the advice of fellow users here on LAU, and I've not been disappointed
in its performance.
You're voice sounds better than mine, but we sound
like twins on
harp. I believe I once played that exact solo!
