Qtractor 1.5.1 - An(other) End-of-Year'24 Release

Hi again, Qtractor 1.5.1 (end-of-year'24) is out! Change-log: - Fixed/corrected and awfully bad MIDI metronome and clock timing, a reminiscence from the higher resolution MIDI queuing (in place since v0.9.30, meaning a two year long disgrace :(). Description: Qtractor [1] is an audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer application written in C++ with the Qt framework [2]. Drumstick Multiplatform MIDI File Player 1.7.5 Released

Drumstick (https://drumstick.sourceforge.io/docs/index.html) is a set of GPLv3 licensed C++/Qt libraries for MIDI applications. The project includes several tools as examples, and among them is the drumstick-guiplayer utility that leverages the Drumstick::ALSA library, so it is available only for Linux (because the ALSA sequencer is a linux only technology). Some people have requested a program with the same functionalities also on Windows and macOS, so here it is. But this project is much more ... Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard 0.9.1 Released

Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard is a MIDI events generator and receiver. It doesn't produce any sound by itself, but can be used to drive a MIDI synthesizer (either hardware or software, internal or external). You can use the computer's keyboard to play MIDI notes, and also the mouse. You can use the Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard to display the played MIDI notes from another instrument or MIDI file player. Includes a C++ wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface: ALSA sequencer provides software support for MIDI technology on Linux. A complementary library provides classes for processing SMF (Standard MIDI files: .MID/.KAR), RIFF MIDI (.RMI), and Cakewalk (.WRK) file formats. Ratatouille.lv2 v0.9.4 released

Ratatouille is a Neural Model loader and mixer for Linux/Windows. ![Ratatouille](https://github.com/brummer10/Ratatouille.lv2/blob/main/Ratatouille.png?raw=true) This release introduce a normalization option for NAM models and fix a issue with the normalization (a.k.a loudness compensation) of IR Files (thanks to @avanzzzi ) Ratatouille allow to load up to two neural model files and mix there output. Those models could be [*.nam files](https://tonehunt.org/all) or [*.json or .aidax files](https://cloud.aida-x.cc/all). So you could blend from clean to crunch for example, or, go wild and mix different amp models, or mix a amp with a pedal simulation. Ratatouille using parallel processing to process the second neural model and the second IR-File to reduce the dsp load. The "Delay" control could add a small delay to the second model to overcome phasing issues, or to add some color/reverb to the sound. To round up the sound it allow to load up to two Impulse Response files and mix there output as well. You could try the wildest combinations, or, be conservative and load just your single preferred IR-File. Each neural model may have a different expected Sample Rate, Ratatouille will resample the buffer to match that. Impulse Response Files will be resampled on the fly to match the session Sample Rate. Hi all, Qtractor 1.5.0 (end-of-year'24) is released! Change-log: - Clip/Cross Fade may now apply to all (multiple) selected clips. - Fixed the status-bar session and MIDI clip length BBT format, when in presence of multiple tempo or time-signature changes. - Introducing MIDI clip editor (aka. piano-roll) new Transport/Step/Note/Backward and Forward menu actions, to move the play-head to previous and next note events, respectively. - MIDI clip editor (aka. piano-roll) menu Edit/Select Mode/Edit On, Off and Draw actions are now self-toggled when triggered. - Plug-in presets menu: now sorted alphabetically. - When summoned from the menu, the View/Tempo Map-Markers... dialog positions itself to the current play-head location, instead of the absolute beginning of the timeline. - Introducing new application custom theming option: View/Options.../Display/Options/Custom/Icons theme (directory or folder). - After a shameful long time, adding a brand new audio clip via the Clip/New... dialog, is now finally fixed and functional. - Mixer: reduced track names up to first line break. - Double-click on slider for default value, replicating the behavior of middle-click. - Fxed bug: Aux Send loses state when reordered in a strip. - Create/Add new bus below that which is used as source in View/Buses dialog. - Mitigate truncated bus names in Aux Send Bus dialog. - Fixed yet another old bug regarding the flush of all pending MIDI Note-Off events when playback stops, shuts-off or panics, especially relevant when playback is resumed anywhere but the absolute beginning of the timeline (and also after a first loop turn around). - Schedule an actual and complete refresh on main View/Refresh..., especially when changing a custom color theme palette on-the-fly. Sonivox Synthesizer Library v3.6.15 has been released

This project is a fork of the Android Open Source Project 'platform_external_sonivox', including a CMake based build system to be used not on Android, but on any other computer Operating System. Google licensed this work originally named Sonivox EAS (Embedded Audio Synthesis) from the company Sonic Network Inc. under the terms of the Apache License 2.0. Here is the Google source code repository: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/sonivox.git This is a "wavetable" synthesizer, not using external soundfont files by default but embedded samples instead. DLS files are also supported. It is also a MIDI file player and a real time GM synthesizer. It consumes very little resources, so it may be indicated in projects for small embedded devices. There is neither MIDI input nor audio output facilities included in the library. You need to provide your own input/output.
