Hi!
I just got jack 107.2 (svn) installed, because I had zombifying problems
with my earlier jack 103.something. But it continues.
My kernel is 2.6.21-mm2 with builtin alsa (1.0.14rc3).
What can I do about it? If you need anything more, just tell me.
Kindest regards
Julien

The Traverso development team is pleased to announce the release of Traverso

Due the nature of some of the bugs fixed, it's recommended to upgrade to

Hi!
Does anyone know, if I can attach a running process to a tty? The problem
is, when I use lash, my apps get restarted and run ok, but I can't really use
them. I suppose with a GUI this is no problem, because there is only one
screen.
Anyway it doesn't work with shell-built-ins, because it's not the same old
shell they get started in.
Any ideas suggestions on this are highly appreciated.
Kindest regards
Julien

Folks,
Surely this question was asked before. Recebtly there was a short
thread about archive.org which proposed other sites where music can be
uploaded. They all looked pretty fancy to me who is not doing that
much with music. I'd just like to know of some place where it is
possible to upload some music files to share. I don't want to make a
career nor do I have a promo for an album. I don't even finish the
toons I start. You know, a just for fun type of thing. Free. And
possibly withotu any small-letter clause that says that once uploaded
the coyrights of the toon is given to the site operators.
Are there any places like these ? If you know any, please let me
know.
Cheers,
Al
Hi!
I again tried to work with lash, but failed. I should mention I only use the
console tools. I proceeded as follows:
tty1> lashd
tty2> lash_control
tty3> jackctlmmc
tty4> aconnect 16 128 # VIRMidi soundcard and jackctlmmc
tty2>
lash_control> save
(it appears to save something and says something like: telling lash server to
save project.)
When I try:
lash_control> close
lash_control> restore project-1
Doesn't do anything.
What do I do wrong? When do I exactly have to start and quit my
lash_clients? Or is the lash_control-app not yet suited to perform real saving
and loading/restoring of projects?
I'd really like to know, because I think lash can be a dead usefl thing, if
all components work as they should!
Kindest regards

Hi everyone!
I still have trouble really USING lash. I can only use the accompanying
console-utilities.
So I start lahs, then lash_control (is it similar to lash_panel) and
jackctlmmc (a lash_client).
I make my midi-connections, see something happen in lash_control and then
store the project. It seems to work, some file(s) get written to disk and use
"close" command of lash_control to close the project.
But I can't restore the settings. Any help on this. How exactly should I
proceed when restoring? I mean in which order to start and restore everything?
Perhaps I'm just too stupid for it... :-)
Kindest regards and thanks for any help!

Not totally finished yet, but who cares. Maybe some of you still enjoy it.

Maybe someone else wants to lay down a solo on this track. If so, speak up, i

I really like the this track. Lots of emotion. Melodie is really sweet when the lead appears after the eerie guitar. Surprising drums. A bit of hesitation around 1:58.
Keep it up!
