Is anyone able to post to any of the sourceforge lists?
My posts for the last three days (on different groups) seem to have been
silently ignored :(
Then again, this post will at lest prove whether I can post to any other list :?

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
hi all!
If some of you remember the crazy bunny from Utrecht's LAC, here we are
again. No bunnies this time but more scifi cyberpunk atmosphere.
We wrote and released a new album two weeks ago, please have a listen,
it's in electro bass, funk & space kind of hybrid of genres. It's free
download (name your price), but if you like it you can support by
paying an € or two, get a very limited edition USB or a CDr. Heck we
even have T-shirts this time.
Everything (90%) was written in Renoise on UbuntuStudio without any
external plugins. I used Ardour for all the vocals and a microKorg
synth in two or three places. I also used some CALF LV2 plugins on
vocals. Another piece of hardware was also TC's VocalLive2 effect box.
As with our previous album "PACIFICATION", a friend did the final mix
and mastering in Logic on MAC.
Enjoy and kudos to the whole Linux Audio community!

Hello all,
The version 1.1.0 of ams-lv2 is now available:
The two main "features" of this version are:
- Ported tons of additional plugins from AMS (VCEnv & VCEnv II,
Multiphase LFO, VC Organ, etc.)
- Ported the changes from version AMS 2.1.1 (Bit Grinder, Hysteresis,
the bug fixes, etc.)
In addition, this release sees a lot of bug fixes or optimization.
As a reminder, ams-lv2 are plugins to create modular synthesizers
ported from Alsa Modular Synth.
Here is a demo of an older version of these plugins.

ams-lv2 1.1.0 can be downloaded here:

enjoy :)

I have a Yamaha keyboard with USB MIDI out, and I'd like to get that MIDI signal wirelessly to JACK running on my synth. What is the simplest way right now? I could connect the keyboard to an RPi and then netjack it to the synth via wifi, but that does not sound very simple to me :-)

Hi,
are there any good (binary) alternative kernels usable with the recent
versions of Linux Mint? I have Linux Mint 17.1 on an oldish (~2007)
laptop, and the stock low-latency kernel is not adequate for audio and
MIDI work on this machine even with LXDE.

"Robust Session Management" has now been replaced with something much better:
http://lsn.ponderworthy.com/doku.php/concurrent_patch_management
All patches are now kept running all the time, are switched by MIDI channel from the MIDI controller, and can be played simultaneously.
Process control, for reliable and controlled startup of all of those patch elements, is done by a peculiar own-grown Python library; if anyone has a better way, please do let me know :-)
