The school bought against my recommendation the tascam us-366 because it
came in a bundle offer with a microphone.
Any chance that I will get this model to run at all or is it a brick on
linux?

Hi (to the old hands in particular),
just wanting to say: Hi there, I'm back, if a little changed. As some might
guess, I've been quietly active all the time, just wanting to stay hidden.
Best wishes,
Jeanette

Yoshimi can record audio, too. I prefer to record MIDI in Rosegarden, tho.
My experience was first with Zyn. Years ago. Zyn and RT didn't get along. Yoshimi did from the first time I used it.
I have both installed. Yoshi can use Zyn's sounds.
I think both need a UI overhaul. ;)

Hello,
The INSTALL file is straightforward. ccmake isn't. What it does is
that it shows a screen with options. Options seems OK, so what is the
next step to go on with the compilation ? ENTER does not do it as it
toggles a selected option. (On the side: why is configuring/making
like this - wasn't the plain ol' configure all right ?)
Cheers.

About time. Zyn/Yoshimi are both tiny things at modern resolutions.
And I hope the controls within it will similarly be freed of their pixel constraints.

Except that you cannot see the contents of 2 different tabs simultaneously.

Hi all,
Does anyone have access to an easy to implement (as in code)
dereverberation algorithm assuming one has access to the room impulse
response? I am looking for a way to clean-up recorded audio signal in
order to improve signal clarity (e.g. speech). Any info on this topic is
most appreciated.
Best,
