Had a qemu session for dynebolic request this:
sudo echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq
Wasn't this set up in the kernel or some sysconfig somewhere? The original
content was "64". definitely not good. I once had Rosegarden request
something like this as well and thought I had fixed it.
Anyway, there is nothing in .config. The rt-patched kernel .config has entries
for high hardware timer set but I am using an older computer.
Hi all,
due to some power renovations in the building of the TU where our server is,
the LAC 2007 site has not been reachable during the past night.
This will last till at least around 14h00 today.
I put the site up at
http://www.nescivi.nl/lac2007/
Also, any emails that were sent in this time to
lac2007(a)robin.kgw.tu-berlin.de, did not get to me.
Please resend to my gmail-address if you sent me mail there.

i tried looking at sourceforge but no success, so perhaps someone here
is familiar with the issue.
i already tried to compile the v5.04 and the cvs too, but always the

Hi all,
I'm using hydrogen for a while but it's my first time on this forum.
First of all big thanks for all at hydrogen, great software.
My problem is when I try to play *.h2song I made withwin$ on my linux
(old demudi or studio64).
The error is :
" [WARNING] SongReader [readSong] Trying to load a song created with a
different version of hydrogen.
[WARNING] SongReader [readSong] Song [/home/stixlaw/UntitledSong.h2song]
saved with version 0.9.4-svn
[WARNING] SongReader [readSong] Error loading song: exclude node not found
[WARNING] SongReader [readSong] Instrument number != MAX_INSTRUMENTS.
n=16>32 "
How can I solve this problem.
Thanks
PL

I don't know the laws, but I would be extremely surprised if this is
illegal in Europe.

I wouldn't.
(In fact, I have a bunch of cover versions available for download myself,
and no way am I going to remove them.)
> Should I take them down?

Please don't. It would be extremely unreasonable for anyone to demand that
you should. You are a free person who should be able to express yourself
the way you want. Unless the covers are hard to differ from
the originals, I strongly oppose any idea that this is some kind of
copyright infringement
Personally I've found any sinusoid synth (software or hardware) gives a good
B3 sound IF it is run through a valve (tube) guitar head or good valve
amplifier emulation. Getting a good Leslie simulation is harder and I've not
yet found a software solution that is truly convincing. Any pointers as to
rotary speaker simulations and their parameter settings would be appreciated.
We are very happy to announce the CLAM 1.0 "Berlin" release while
having splendid views of the Alps in the flight to Berlin for the
Linux Audio Conference.
This release is indeed a major milestone for the project and it
opens a door to the development of exciting new features, so keep
tuned! Apart of these big changes expect also bug fixes (yes 1.0
have bugs) as we move on.
Learn about CLAM in the web: http://clam.iua.upf.edu
Last months have been very positive: many new people showed
interest and contributed in the mailing lists, CLAM got packaged
for almost every Linux distribution, and we got enormous activity
in the svn source repository. We also welcome Andreas as an active
developer and we hope that the forthcoming Google Summer of Code
will also bring new talent aboard.
These are the substantial changes from 0.98:
NetworkEditor (now in version 1.0 like the CLAM libs) let the user
embed any Ladspa plugin in the network as if it was a CLAM
processing. This combined with the fact that you already can
compile a network as a new Ladspa plugin library bringing a new
world of possibilities. Portaudio is now the common stable audio
back-end and its usability have been improved. However, jack is
still taken as the default back-end in linux and osx. The interaction
between Network and its FlowControl have been totally redesigned,
fixing many bugs related with complex network topologies. A new
FreewheelingNetworkPlayer class permits offline execution of
networks, and it comes along with a new binary for command-line
use. At users petition we've also added SMSTools related
command-line binaries. On the signal processing front, we have
added a fftw3 and experimental vowel synthesis processings.
As always, see detailed changes in the change-logs [1]
Find in the download section[2] the usual binaries for Mac OSX
(Intel and PowerPc), Windows, Linux (Debian sid, Ubuntu Edgy and
Feisty) and also new packages for Fedora Core 6 and OpenSuse.
Thanks Fernando, Toni, Paul and others for the great help with
packaging!

A question in form of a poll: Anyone managed editing and sending
patches from JSynthLib to Hexter?

Any link to useful presets for the Freeverb LADSPA plugin in order to
use it with soft synths via jack-rack?

Is there such a thing as a free-as-in-freedom alternative (no matter how paltry) to the Native Instruments "B4"?
I tried Bristol and... it looks gorgeous but IMHO sounds way too thin and cheezy.
There seem to be dozens of soundfonts out there with B3 sounds, but the ones I've tried so far aren't very good. The free GigaSampler/LinuxSampler B3 samples I've found are even worse.
If there's no good tonewheel simulator, are there any recommended good free soundfonts of B3 sounds? Samples made with Leslie are useless to me, since I'll simulate that using LADSPA plugins. If I go the soundfont route, I'd just need samples of the organ line-out.
