Hello all,
Does anyone here know how to manually align sonic-visualizer files? I
have a session with four files, and I want to move where the fourth file
starts.
Thank you very much for your time and help,
Brandon Hale
Gday,
I'm a disabled musician who plays keys with one hand. I'm looking for ways to enhance my playing. I've written some hacky stuff in python (using http://chordrecognizer.sourceforge.net/) and a standalone c piece for arduino that can recognise a chord and spit out a root note in a lower octave. It works but it could be improved.
The next thing I would like to accomplish is to re-voice a triad over a few octaves, for example move the middle note up an octave.
I guess it would involve some kind of array and timing function or I could send different notes out to pre transposed synths and be meticulous in my playing techniques to make sure the notes are well ordered.
I have tried mididings but the project seems slightly abandoned and the relevant module VoiceFliter doesn't seem to function the way I expect in the version I have
I was asking Robin about his x42 plugins and he said there were some users on this list who have come up with some creative solutions for augmenting their playing.
I'd love to hear what people have come up with to get some ideas.
I apologise for the over all nebulous nature of this. I'm still working on defining the tasks that I think could help me musically.
Thanks for your time.
John

Will a Yamaha expression pedal work on a non-Yamaha MIDI keyboard? It uses a stereo 1/4" plug.
Thanks!

Hi folks,
Honestly hope I ask for what I need clearly.
I understand that there are some music programs that a low one to play
notes, using their computer keyboard.
Although I do not use Linux, Wondering, assuming I am correct of
course, if anyone knows of a mac option for this?
Thanks,
Karen
This has been progressively suffering with low numbers and we nearly lost it
completely. This month's theme is man V machine. As usual the definition is
pretty open to interpretation :P
So if you used to contribute, think about doing so again. If you never have,
give it a go. It's just for fun really.
This is my entry:

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
I'm trying to get Surge XT running on debian/bullseye
Standalone: The GUI seems very unresponsive, and test audio stutters
Plugin (in reaper): doing long 2 octave bends from linnstrument is sluggish
as well, the final part of the bend is happening after the finger has
stopped.
Tried both the latest deb, lightly build and build from source.
Any suggestions?

Old cd players just had play, eject, next, prev etc.
and the cd drive had audio outputs.
Now that cd drives is on sata, thoose audio outputs
does not exist any more, so thoose programs doesn't
work any more.
Is that any current cd player that is simple like the
old ones that works with current cd drives ?
E.g. there is too many clicks in clementine to just
play a cd.
