Sonoj Convention 2019 - Announcement #1 - Looking for Speakers (no papers required)

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Sonoj Convention is an annual event in Cologne, Germany about music production with free and open source software (and hardware). This year it will be on October the 26th and 27th 2019. It features demonstrations, talks and hands-on workshops. Meet like-minded people, learn insider knowledge and tricks, participate in our one-hour production challenge! Everybody is welcome, no matter your musical or technological background or capabilities. Our Website: https://sonoj.org This is our first announcement, reaching out to our core audience. The event is more than half a year away, but we are starting talks to find speakers and lecturers now. Sonoj is not a software-developers conference; instead the stereotypical speaker is an experienced musician or producer. ZynAddSubFX 3.0.4 - The âCalamineâ Release March 10th 2019 Hello everyone, Iâm glad to announce the 3.0.4 release of ZynAddSubFX. This release features a number of user interface visual refinements, the LFO random mode, as well as improved parameter resolution for two add synth volume parameters. Additionally for packagers, this release is now compatible with the new MXML 3.0 library API. For those using the gumroad builds, those should be up in the next few days. Windows users should be mindful that since 3.0.3, there appears to be a regression in the startup of the standalone GUI. So, if there are issues there, it may be best to use the plugin version or 3.0.3 version until thatâs fixed. If thereâs anyone building for that platform whoâs interested in tracing the root cause of that issue, let us know. Available in dual form as usual: - a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session [5], NSM (Non Session management [6]) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI [7] input support; - a LV2 instrument plug-in [8].
