Hi
The first fix release of GxPlugins.lv2 is out.
The fixes are:
Fix Power switch use as bypass control (lv2:enabled)
Fix don't rebuild on make install
Fix GxVBassPreAmp dc overload in circuit simulation
Also it comes with the new GxSD1.lv2 pedal simulation.
GxPlugins.lv2 is a set of mostly analogue guitar pedal simulations as
LV2 plugins, simulated with the guitarix ampsim toolkit.
They contain the following plugs:
GxBottleRocket.lv2 - -> tube based preamp pedal
GxHotBox.lv2 - -> tube based preamp pedal
GxVBassPreAmp.lv2 - -> transistor based Bass preamp
GxSuppaToneBender.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxHyperion.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxVoodoFuzz.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxSaturator.lv2 - -> saturation plugin
GxVintageFuzzMaster.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxSuperFuzz.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxVmk2.lv2 - -> transistor based solid stage preamp
GxUVox720k.lv2 - -> transistor based solid stage preamp
GxSlowGear.lv2 - -> volume swell plugin
GxGuvnor.lv2 - -> transistor based overdrive pedal
GxToneMachine.lv2 - -> transistor based Fuzz pedal
GxSD1.lv2 - -> Op-amp based overdrive pedal
I hope they may be useful for the one or the other.

Radium is a vertical music editor. Radium is inspired by trackers, but uses
more graphics to show musical data. Radium also supports MIDI sequencing
and hard disk recording.
Radium has features like smooth scrolling, zooming, automation, piano roll,
embedded Pure Data (Pd), and embedded Faust.
Homepage: http://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radium/
Screenshot of the new mixer interface added since last announcement:

(somewhat inspired by the mixer in Ardour)
A new classic 8 bit 4 channel tracker module played in Radium:

Demonstration video by Tobias Lutzenkirchen showing some
of the features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhwmT0G5EwM
Demonstration video showing developing Faust programs inside Radium:

Changes between 4.3.0 and 4.4.4:
* A new and more traditional mixer, in addition to the already existing
modular mixer.
* Optionally show mixer strip of current instrument in the left or right
part of the main window.
* By default, record audio files into a sub directory of the song file.
* Fix Ctrl key on OS X. Don't use Cmd to slow down mouse movement.
* Fix high CPU usage when using an Intel GFX driver and the Radium window
is not visible.
* Linux: Fix running Radium if the full path contains space.
* Show message during startup if there are errors in the keyboard
configuration.
* Scale UI better when changing system font size.
* Sequencer improvements:
* Several UI improvements.
* Improved graphics.
* Optional smooth scrolling.
* Support automations.
* Fix import Fasttracker modules.
* Exclusively select mute/solo/bypass when ctrl-clicking.
* Draw colored border around mute buttons when an instrument is implicitly
muted.
* Add portamento effect to the sampler.
* Options to quickly select a random sample file.
* 282 other smaller bug fixes and new features.
The OSM is back with a new episode for January, playing a folksy acoustic
track from Fiasco recorded in Ardour on Ubuntu, and a tech segment on pitch
correction. Add to this the usual news and yammering, its a short and sweet
episode.
Especially we'd like to call attention to the Open Amp-Sim Challenge of
tunestorm #17. Who can make the greatest guitar tones using only open
source effects and amp sims? Even if it's not you we'd love to hear what
you do come up with, so please participate in our musical un-competion!
Just send a flac or wav of your original song featuring this guitar tone
(or synth tone run through a virtual amp or distortion etc) to
contributions at opensourcemusician dot com by February 13th.
Thanks for listening, and as always questions, comments, complaints, quips,
quibbles, and quizzes welcome.

DrumGizmo version 0.9.12 now available!
Get it at http://www.drumgizmo.org/
DrumGizmo is an open source, multichannel, multilayered, cross-platform
drum plugin and stand-alone application. It enables you to compose drums
in midi and mix them with a multichannel approach. It is comparable to
that of mixing a real drumkit that has been recorded with a multimic setup.
Most prominent new feature is that we now have FreeBSD support! Several
fixes for various combinations of software also made it into this
release. Check the roadmap for 0.9.12[1] for full details.
Important note to package maintainers:
Since version 0.9.11 we copy vst source files into the build tree while
building the vst plugin. This mean that should you wish to make a
tar-ball available with the build directory after the build has finished
this must either be stripped of said files or not be made public.

On behalf of the entire Rivendell development team, I'm pleased to announce the availability of Rivendell v2.15.2. Rivendell is a full-featured radio automation system targeted for use in professional broadcast environments. It is available under the GNU General Public License.
From the NEWS file:
*** snip snip ***
Changes:
WallTime RLM. Refactored the 'rlm_walltime' RLM to be compatible with
v1.1.0 firmware.
Create Database Bug Fix. Fixed a bug in database creation that caused
incompatibility with MySQL InnoDB tables.
WAV Format Change. Implemented a workaround in WAV file generation
to avoid compatibility issues with certain proprietary audio editors.
LiveWire Multicast GPIO Driver. Added the ability to generate GPO
events.
Web API. Added 'CREATE' and 'GROUP_NAME' parameters to the 'Import'
call.
Various other bug fixes. See the ChangeLog for details.
Database Update:
This version of Rivendell uses database schema version 259, and will
automatically upgrade any earlier versions. To see the current schema
version prior to upgrade, see RDAdmin->SystemInfo.
As always, be sure to run RDAdmin immediately after upgrading to allow
any necessary changes to the database schema to be applied.

V 1.5.0 - The Robin
Vector control now has its own dedicated button on the main window.
Any attempt to set an invalid bank root will be ignored. The same was already
true for banks themselves. Also, on first time startup, discovered roots will
be given ID numbers starting from 5 and in steps of 5.
If working from the command line, listing roots and banks will identify the
current ones with a '*'.
Channel switching has now matured to a 'Solo' feature accessed from the mixer
panel.
Another new feature is one that has been asked for several times - a crossfade
for overlapping note ranges in instrument kits.
Filter tracking could never quite reach 100% so if using it to get 'notes' from
noise it would go slightly out of tune. Well, now we have an extra check box
that changes its range so that instead of -100% to 98.4% it will track 0% to
198.4%
Many of the controls now have active tooltips that show the current value when
you hover over them. Also, many have real-world terms. dB, Hz, mS etc.
Finally, we have very full featured MIDI learn capability. It can be reached
from the 'Yoshimi' drop-down menu, and tooltips will remind you of how it is
used.
